Climate Bosnia and Herzegovina

Climate Europe

In Bosnia-Herzegovina the climate is partly maritime and partly continental due to its location on the Mediterranean Sea. Towards the coast the summers are very warm and rather dry, the winters mild and humid. In the interior, the temperature differences between summer and winter are much greater. In winter snow falls frequently, in summer it can get very hot for a long time. It gets warmest in July and August with average monthly temperatures of 28 degrees, coldest in December and January. The fewest rainy days are from July to September.

The best time to travel is from April to October due to the sometimes harsh winters.
