Climate Equatorial Guinea
Equatorial Guinea has a tropical climate with an average annual temperature of about 26°C and high humidity. On the islands, the differences in altitude are climatically noticeable; in the lowlands, it is hot and humid. On Bioko, the main rainy season lasts from May to October. In Rio Muni the rainy seasons are from February to June and from September to December. On the inner mainland, daily temperature fluctuations are more pronounced than on the coast.
Due to otherwise limited travel opportunities, travel should take place during the rainy season, which is from November to April.
