Climate São Tomé and Príncipe
São Tomé and Principe have a tropical climate. The islands lie directly on the equator. The temperatures, which fluctuate only slightly throughout the year, are between 25 and 32°C. On the islands the differences in altitude are climatically noticeable. The rainy season extends from October to May, with the strongest precipitation in the weeks from February to May. During this period temperatures are around 31°C.
The drier months are June to September (up to about 29°C).
The most pleasant travel months are from June to September.
