Climate Tonga
The islands of Tonga have a warm and always humid tropical climate. The coldest months are from June to September, with average highs between 23 and 26 degrees. The warmest monthly average temperatures are reached with 25 to 29 degrees between December and March. The annual precipitation sums lie between 1600 and 3000 mm. Less rain falls in the south than in the north. The largest amounts of rain fall from December to April. Then tropical cyclones are also possible.
The best time to travel to Tonga is between May and November. Then there is less rain than in the other months, and temperatures and humidity are more pleasant.
