Climate American Samoa
The climate on the islands is tropical. Temperatures almost never drop below 21°C and rarely the thermometer rises to temperatures above 32°C. The average annual temperature is around 26°C. The humidity of 76 percent is high throughout the year. Short rain showers, which are heavy but rarely last longer than an hour, must be expected all year round. Most rain falls in the so-called summer months from December to March. During this time it can also rain heavily for several days.
The best time to travel is from June to October.
