The Comoros archipelago lies northwest of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. The climate is tropical with only slight temperature fluctuations. The average maximum values range between 29 and 31 degrees. The water temperature is a pleasant 25 to 27 degrees. The dry season lasts from May to October, from November to April there are sometimes heavy rains and strong winds (monsoon). Annual rainfall varies from region to region, ranging from 900 litres near the beach to up to 4000 litres inland.

The Comoros is a destination all year round.
