Malta has a subtropical, dry Mediterranean climate. The average maximum temperatures in summer are between 26 and 29 degrees, but temperatures can sometimes rise to 40 degrees. The water temperatures of 21 to 25 degrees invite you to take a bath. Rain hardly falls in the summer months. In the winter, the temperatures are quite mild, the coldest it is with an average of 14 degrees in January. However, rain falls on up to 13 days, which are mostly strong showers.

The months June to September are the best months for a holiday in Malta. But also the months May and October are recommended for a bathing as well as a hiking holiday.
