Climate New Zealand
New Zealand lies in the west wind belt of the southern latitudes, the climate is predominantly temperate, in the extreme north also subtropical. On average, higher temperatures are reached on the North Island than in the South. In the summer months December to February the maximum temperatures are 20 to 26 degrees, in July 7 to 15 degrees. In New Zealand it is very windy. The New Zealand Alps form a barrier for the clouds approaching from the west, so the west coast is also one of the rainiest regions in the world.
New Zealand can be visited all year round.
