Climate Qatar

Climate Western Asia

Qatar has a subtropical climate with high humidity and hot temperatures. Summers are very hot with highs of up to 50 degrees in the shade. The average temperatures are around 40 degrees from July to August. Even at night it hardly cools down. The winter months are somewhat more moderate, with average highs between 21 and 26 degrees but still very warm. The annual precipitation of maximum 100 mm is very low and mainly falls from December to March.

For holiday trips to Qatar we recommend the winter season from November to the beginning of March. Then the temperatures are not so hot and the nights are pleasantly cool.
