Climate Vietnam
Northern Vietnam has a subtropical climate. The warmest months in this region are June and July with up to 29-30°C. On extremely hot days it can even get 35-36°C hot. The coolest month is January with about 16-17°C.
Southern Vietnam has a tropical climate. In Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) the highest temperatures are about 36°C, the lowest temperatures are about 25°C. The months March and April are very hot and there is a high humidity.
It must always be reckoned with rain showers. However, it rains the most in the months August and September.
The south of the country can be visited all year round, but the most pleasant months are December and January. For the north, the best travel month is November.
